ROUGH PURCHASE

We source rough diamonds from leading miners in South Africa, Antwerp, Dubai, and Russia, including renowned names like DTC, Alrosa, Petra, and ODC. Following this, our stringent quality control benchmarks enable precise classification and grading of the finished pieces.

ROUGH ASSORTMENT

We guarantee the flawless transformation of rough diamonds. From thoroughly examining each rough stone for color, clarity, carat, and cut, our processes are meticulously defined. Experts in this department carefully sort the rough diamonds into small packets. Each gem’s clarity is assessed based on the number, location, size, and type of inclusions—imperfections visible only under a Grader’s loupe. After sorting, the diamonds are handed over to the planning and marking department.

PLANNING AND MARKING

One of the most crucial departments in our entire operation finalizes the diamond's shape, size, weight, and clarity. Our experts meticulously plan every detail, ensuring the final product is perfectly refined and flawless.

CLEAVING

The diamond is divided into two pieces through the process of cleaving or sawing. Here’s how it works: every diamond has different planes that guide how it is cut. If the markings align with or are parallel to these planes, the diamond is cleaved using a chisel and hammer.

LASER SYSTEM

After the cleaving or sawing process is completed, the diamond is sent back to the planning and marking department for cross-examination. The next step in the process is boiling.

BOILING PROCESS

Now comes the cleaning stage after the diamond has gone through the laser system, known as the boiling process. The primary role of this department is to clean the diamonds processed in the laser machine using sulfuric and nitric acid.

BRUTING

Next, the diamond needs to be shaped through a process called Bruting. The expert handling this task must be careful and alert, as rough diamonds come in various shapes and often resemble ordinary stones. This process, which involves rough blocking, top blocking, and bottom blocking, is overseen by the experienced professionals in our facility.

POLISHING

A diamond is not complete without polishing. After the bruting process, the diamond is moved to the polishing department, where the final work of faceting is done. Our experts finalize the diamond's appearance, ensuring it is free of polish lines, burn marks, scratches, or abrasions.
